Tanzanian Wedding in Dar-Es-Salaam | Hanna & Eric

Hanna and Eric’s wedding took place in Dar Es Salaam during the summer. For my second trip to Tanzania, I was thrilled to finally explore the coastal city. The Fish Market was our playground for the couple session. It looked like documentary photography Africa. So much fun!! I am happy to share a few words of the bride’s sister that reveal the good times we had all together…

“She [the bride] has just sent us the link to her photos, and I had to email you to thank you for an absolutely, unbelievably stunning portrayal of their wonderful day. I had obviously seen your work when Hanna sent me your website to check out what you can do, so I knew you would deliver, but I find myself simply amazed by how every photo just hit the right nerve. Your photos have brought the memories back so powerfully – feels like we are reliving it! I know that Hanna is so happy with them, and they are already doing the rounds on Facebook. Honestly, you should be incredibly proud of not only the art that you bring to photography, but especially the sheer joy that you create for your customers. It’s magical! I for one, will be recommending your work to everyone I know (how I wish I knew about you 6 years ago, haha!)”
