DOCUMENTARY-STYLE WITH AN ARTISTIC APPROACH | FINE ART

Wedding coverage in Dubai starts from 12,000 AED. Full-day coverage runs 4 to 12 hours and delivers 300+ edited high-resolution images through a private gallery within 2 weeks. You can book a second photographer, pre-wedding sessions and albums on top. Send me your date and venue and I will come back with a figure the same day.
Documentary Wedding Photography in Dubai
Fourteen years. Over three hundred weddings. A press background before any of it. I trained in visual arts and worked as an art director in New York and Paris. That still shapes how I shoot a wedding day: I report it honestly rather than arrange it for the camera. Vogue, Le Monde, Harper’s Bazaar, Brides, VSD and WedLuxe have published my work. I’ve won more than 150 international photography awards.
In practice, I stay out of the way. Most of your gallery will be unposed: the room filling up, your mother’s face during the speeches. The quiet ten minutes before the ceremony when nobody is performing yet. We will giver a short guided portrait session, usually in the hour before sunset when Dubai’s light is worth planning around. I organize family formals properly, so nobody spends forty minutes standing in a queue. If you want a heavily posed, traditional studio-style album, I am not the right photographer for you. And I’d rather tell you now. More about how I work and where I came from.
You can add an engagement or pre-wedding session. I also work alongside a film team I’ve shot with for years, so our two crews stay out of each other’s frames instead of competing for the same three metres in front of the aisle. I can arrange hair and makeup if you need it.
Multicultural and Multi-day Weddings in the UAE
Most Dubai weddings run more than one day and blend more than one culture. That’s the part of the job I enjoy most. I shoot Indian and Pakistani celebrations across mehndi, sangeet, baraat and reception. I cover Arab and Khaleeji weddings with a zaffe entrance and a reception that starts when most weddings elsewhere are ending. My experience includes photographing Lebanese, Nigerian, Filipino, Chinese and mixed-culture ceremonies. Two sets of traditions share a single day and we don’t treat them as the supporting act. I need to know what’s about to happen before it happens: where the baraat will actually arrive, when the zaffe drums start, which four minutes of a Catholic ceremony I can’t miss. And which part of the evening a male photographer can handle. I work in English and French, and I’d rather over-plan the running order with you than improvise on the night.
Where I Photograph in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Ballrooms and beachfront lawns across Madinat Jumeirah, Bulgari Resort, One&Only, Atlantis, the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton. Private villas on the Palm, in Emirates Hills and Al Barari. Desert camps out towards Al Marmoom and the Al Qudra lakes. Yachts and terraces at Dubai Harbour, and rooftops across DIFC and Downtown with the Burj in the frame. Every venue in this city has one hour where it looks like the brochure and several where it does not, and most of the planning is about putting your ceremony and your portraits inside that hour.
