FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A pre-wedding shoot usually happens closer to the wedding date and often includes multiple outfits, sometimes even a look with your wedding dress or a traditional outfit you’ll wear at the ceremony. An engagement session is typically simpler, one or two outfits, further out from the wedding. I treat pre-wedding sessions as a chance to tell more of your story, especially if you’re blending cultures or traditions.

I recommend two to three outfits for most pre-wedding shoots. A first look can be relaxed, like a casual dress or suit, with a second, more formal look for golden hour. Couples wearing cultural or traditional outfits often add a third change to capture that separately. I build the shoot schedule around your changes so we don’t lose light.

I don’t provide hair and makeup myself, but I can recommend artists I’ve worked with before in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Booking your own artist for touch-ups between outfit changes keeps you looking fresh across a two- or three-hour session. I’ll share contacts once we confirm your date.

I deliver a full gallery within two to three weeks of your session. If you need a handful of images sooner, for invitations or a save-the-date, I can turn around ten to fifteen edited photos within 48 hours. I’ll confirm exact timing once I know your wedding date.

I suggest booking your pre-wedding session four to six weeks before the wedding, so there’s still time to use the images for invitations or a welcome sign without rushing the edit. Too close to the wedding and you’re juggling final vendor meetings; too far out and the images feel disconnected from the big day. If you’re using the photos for a save-the-date, we’ll want to shoot even earlier.
