I usually book a very limited number of engagement sessions per year as I am quite often on the go. I found E-Sessions being a very different exercise from covering a wedding because couples are fully aware of the photographer presence and rely on some kind of directions. So the tricky part is to keep the fun natural without looking ‘too’ posed. Ivy and Marko are based in Nairobi but they are originally from Malaysia. They were both very excited to have their photos taken so they transformed their E-session into a full weekend in the countryside. Well ‘countryside’ in Kenya means going into the wild so girafes, zebras, pink flamingos, hippos were all around us. Add a small house by the lake, a bush airstrip, a soft and warm late afternoon light and you have a dream setup for a walking safari and a glass of wine (they took a Bordeaux!!).
