Casual Bush Wedding in Kenya | Sandra & Sagi

December 21, 2010

It is funny how sometimes things are meant to be. I met Sagi, the groom-to-be, quite randomly in Nairobi the night before my flight to Paris early november. We spent the entire evening chatting like old friends, having a drink (or two!), and sharing common experiences about tramping. Sandra and Sagi live currenly in Ontario even though she is from Germany and he grew up in Kenya. They are serious hikers and the three of us are outdoor lovers! Then Sagi told me about his upcoming wedding three weeks later. No need to say more. He was already booking the ticket to fly me back… An intimate wedding in the bush in Africa!! So meaningful to them. I remember Sandra saying that she was so happy to get married in a place where they will probably have a future… Sandra, Sagi, it was such a great pleasure meeting you!! Please be sure that I will visit you in Canada and I am looking forward to our next journey into the wild!!
