We met Akith (the groom) at a previous wedding and obviously we got really excited to the idea of documenting his own event a few months later in Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Weddings in Rajasthan are incredible to photograph. Venues look like ancient forts, elephants are used for the procession, and colors are rich and vibrant. Shruti and Akith’s wedding was no exception! We joined them at the brand new Fairmont Jaipur Hotel, a stunning building inspired by the Mughal dynasty and Royal Rajputs of yore. It was a blast being part of three days of celebration including all the traditional stages of the great Indian wedding. Shruti and Akith, thanks so much for you kindness.
